Thanks, I liked my enjoyable stay and would love to come back here some time. The hotel is clean, has views over the front garden of the venue towards the Staithe and boats. The location is ideal, to several unspoilt beaches. Also, it is just off the coast and the broads and day hire boats and nearby Stalham. The room is reasonably priced...

The room was a nice size and well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable, would absolutely stay here again. We really enjoyed the breakfast with coffee and fruit juices. The hotel was in a central setting down to the coast.

Lacked hot water due to boiler issues, impacting our experience.

Scenic views from the rooms capture the peaceful landscape. The dining area has a cozy vibe, with a unique elegance that makes for a charming space to relax.
Upon arrival, the initial room rate seemed straightforward, but the final charge ended up being significantly higher. Room service left much to be desired. Daily cleaning wasn't provided, and any tea or coffee supplies needed to be requested manually. Internet access turned out to be a hassle, with connectivity issues on most days. Dinner hours felt tight, especially when meals were slow to arrive. One morning, hot water was unavailable due to boiler issues, and there was no acknowledgment or compensation for that.

Oh, the local grub was an absolute treat! We indulged in the finest locally-sourced veggies, not to mention the chef's full English breakfast, a culinary gem! The staff were genuine delights, super friendly and cute. Can't forget to mention the cozy room with fab furnishings that was just like a hug on a cold day!
Now, on the flip side, we faced some hiccups with the dining service, a bit of a faff waiting ages to get menus and drinks. And the bathroom cleanliness? Let's just say it needed a thorough scrub. A few more eyes on the details would really elevate the experience!

Let me tell you about that warm welcome from the staff! They treated us like royalty, even left us a bottle of wine and rose petals! The breakfast, wow, it was fantastic-one of the best I've ever had, no joke!

I spent two nights at Sutton Staithe and found the location fantastic. The view overlooking the river was a highlight every morning. The staff members were genuinely friendly. My room, a Double Room, was clean and cozy. I enjoyed the pub dinner. The locally sourced food tasted great, especially the breakfast. The bathroom needed some work. It showed signs of wear, with cracked tiles and an outdated shower that was difficult to use. The temperature in the room fluctuated a bit. Although I reported it, it wasn't addressed . Despite these issues, the overall vibe and hospitality were great.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the cozy double room and the lovely breakfast options they had. The sun terrace was perfect for morning coffee, and the garden provided a nice spot to unwind. The shower was a bit tricky, as it had a mind of its own, but it didn't ruin our experience. 😊

missingWrote a review on 21 Julcomfortable bedmarina viewspacious roomcleaning products
The double room's size offered enough breathing space for us, paired with a surprisingly comfortable bed, made it easier to recharge after the day's adventures. The hotel's proximity to the marina provided a scenic view and access to boat hires.
Despite the clean room, the lingering smell of cleaning products in the bathroom was quite pungent, though a good air freshener could easily remedy that. On one night, there was a disco that blasted music late into the night, which the owners did warn us about, but it still cut into our sleep. The general condition of the room felt a bit tired, and the dust and spider webs indicated that cleaning missed a few spots, giving it an overall neglected vibe. The lack of adequate storage space in both the room and bathroom.

Couples' Romantic Getaway
The staff were super friendly, especially the bar lady. We ordered dinner and it was just perfect, delicious and well-priced too, I mean, for what we got, it was worth it.
It wasn't cheap, but the quality really made it feel acceptable.
